Beautiful and Easy to Make Christmas Fruit Platter

Sharing a beautiful and easy-to-make fresh fruit platter idea, designed to bring so much fun to school parties and any special occasions during winter months.

What sets this beautiful platter apart is its adaptability – choose your favorite fruit to create a personalized fancy fruit platter. As one of my preferred fruit platter presentation ideas, it effortlessly combines simplicity and elegance, making it a great choice for a large group of people.

Consider this your go-to option for the next party, where the combination of a beautiful look and flavorful fruits is sure to be a crowd-pleaser and a perfect addition to the celebration.

Ingredients

  • 1 pineapple
  • grapes (green and red)
  • clementines
  • strawberries
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

1. Use a sharp knife and a cutting board to cut off the crown of a pineapple (the top of a pineapple). Rinse and pat it dry with paper towels.
2. Position the pineapple crown upside down in the center of your platter (can be a tray or even a cheese board). This will give it the appearance of a Christmas tree. To create the star, cut a ring from the pineapple, then use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the star. Secure the star on top with a toothpick.
3. Wash your chosen variety of fruits and let them air-dry on paper towels. I prepared this large platter for my son's school party food table, featuring kid-favorite fruits: clementines, grapes, and strawberries. Arrange different types of fruit around the pineapple tree. I suggest placing larger fruits (like clementines) close to the tree for stability, and smaller fruits (grapes and strawberries) further out.
4. Make sure the pineapple Christmas tree is dry, then sprinkle it with powdered sugar for the perfect finishing touch.
