1. Season both sides of each chop with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
2. Slice onions and arrange them over the chops. Add lemon juice and mix. Marinate in the refrigerator for about 2 hours, or overnight for better flavor.
3. In a frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Put in the chops, try to space them apart. Fry for 4-5 minutes on one side, then turn them over and fry for another 4 minutes, or to desired degree of doneness.
4.Remove chops to a plate, allow to rest for 2 minutes and serve.
