An easy, all natural whiskey sour recipe that tastes so much better than a store-brought mix. You’ll love that it’s sweetened with maple syrup. Keep this delicious and easy party drink in mind for your celebrations (can be served to the 21 and older crowd).
Ingredients
6 tablespoons Scotch Whiskey (I use The Balvenie Single Malt Scotch Whisky)
4 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
4 teaspoons maple syrup
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Yield: 2 drinks | Prep time: 5 minutes |
Cook Mode - Prevent screen from going dark
Instructions
1. Add whiskey, lemon juice, maple syrup and cinnamon to a cocktail shaker (you can also use a mason jar). Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds. 2. Fill your glasses with ice (I used 2 glasses, 6oz each). Strain the whiskey sour mixture into the glasses and enjoy!

Great take on a classic

Excellent. Very well-balanced. The maple flavor goes perfectly with the scotch and adds a bit of complexity. I paired it with a cheese board and tart apple slices - a match made in heaven!
