  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

1. Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally (slicing the thicker part) and pound lightly to an even thickness. Season each piece with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika and oregano on both sides.

2. Heat half of the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken pieces for 4 minutes without moving them around.

Flip over, add the rest of the oil to the skillet and continue to cook the chicken for 4-6 more minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F (74C).

3. Spoon some of the liquid from the bottom of the skillet over the chicken and serve.
