Garlicky Sweet Potato Wedges
I'm not a big fan of sweet potatoes but this recipe is really good and I ate half of these as soon as they came from the oven. Tossing sweet potatoes with minced garlic before roasting really pumps up the flavor. Moreover, sweet potatoes are a great way of hitting your body’s nutrient and vitamin count. Serve with Steak with Creamy Mustard Sauce.


  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

1. Halve sweet potatoes and cut each half into 1/2 inch wedges. Mince garlic.

2. Preheat oven to 425F (220C).
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sweet potato wedges and cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.

4. Transfer sweet potatoes to a foil-lined baking sheet. Add minced garlic, season with salt and pepper, and toss. Roast for 10 minutes, then toss and roast for another 6-8 minutes.
