Teriyaki Marinated Steak
Great Japanese style teriyaki marinated steak. Marinating makes it delicious, tender and juicy.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound flat iron steak
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

1. Stir together the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, distilled white vinegar, water, olive oil, honey, white sugar, garlic powder, and ground ginger in a small bowl until blended.

2. Cut the steak in 3 pieces, put them in a resealable plastic bag and pour in the marinade. Squeeze out excess air, seal, and marinate in the refrigerator at least 2 hours (the longer the better).

3. In a frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Remove the steaks from the marinade, shake off excess, and discard the remaining marinade. Fry the steaks for about 7 minutes on each side, or to desired degree of doneness.
